September 1, 2009 – Mic Stimms - New CD
'Believe In Me' to be on next CD Time has flown by since I last posted so let me get you caught up. Ryk and I have been getting together when possible to put together a catalog of material that we want to use for the next CD and we have enough material to move forward. Starting this month all of us will be going into the studio on a regular basis to finish up the new CD. In the meantime, I decided to upload a sample of the new stuff so you can see what is coming. This song is called - "Believe in Me". I hope you like it! - Jamie January 31, 2009 – Mic Stimms - New CD 'Waiting for the Moment' to be on next CD Well, we have been busy putting down scratches and hooks and we have a song about ready to go now. This one is called, Waiting for the Moment - its got a nice beat, rhythmic feel, it has that energy that we like in a tune. The guys need to put down their parts to wrap it up but this one is a keeper. Happy New Year everyone! - Jamie December 12, 2008 – Mic Stimms - Working on next CD Mic Stimms working on next CD I know it has been awhile since I posted and I apologize as always for the delay. It has been a crazy year for all of us and I am wishing everyone peace and goodwill during these troubling times. We have reworked the studio and are finally satisfied with the layout of the gear. We have been taking our time laying down some hooks and scratch tracks of material in order to get a list of goods that we feel we can work through faster than the last CD. We have put together a nice set of bits that we feel will be worth the wait. No official name for the CD yet but we expect to have it completed and available by this time next year. As we lock down a tune for release we will sample it and place some of the material online so you can check it out. We anticipate all of the same players to be back again for this CD. Hang in there and we'll get some stuff out as soon as it feels right. P.S. Happy Birthday to me! - Jamie Park July 9, 2008 – Mic Stimms - Back into the Studio Mic Stimms to begin next project I wanted to let everyone know that we have been working with the new equipment in the studio - getting used to the gear and fumbling around with knobs that have no meaning - unless you know what they are supposed to do. We laid down a new tune that we have pretty much completed on the new gear but we want to tweak it a bit and make sure we get the right mix. We expect to be getting back together here in the next month on a regular basis once again. We have put together some riffs and shared ideas over the summer. I know all of us are eager to get started. We'll keep you posted via the news section of the site. Keep checking in monthly to see what we are up to. June 10, 2008 – Forum Closed Mic Stimms website temporarily closed We have closed the Mic Stimms Forum temporarily in order to make enhancements to reduce spamming to our user community. We apologize for the incovenience and we'll be back up as soon as we can. May 10, 2008 – Updated Website Mic Stimms website now updated We are a few months late but we finally have the website back up and we have updated it with the latest information from our new CD - Across The Sky. The site looks similar to the old one so if you are familiar with the navigation you should be fine. If not, just point and click here and there and you'll get the hang of it. If you would like to see the old site don't fret - we haven't dumped it.
